Job summary

Custom Truck One Source, Inc. in Sedalia, MO is seeking a Class A Driver for local home daily routes Monday through Friday. The role requires operating a heavy truck safely, performing pre-trip inspections, and maintaining logs in accordance with state and federal regulations.

You will coordinate with dispatch, complete pickups and deliveries, and support maintenance and safety processes while delivering reliable service to customers.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A license with clean driving record.
• Two years of long distance driving experience.
• Strong safety knowledge and practices.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Inspect truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil and water.
• Drive trucks to assigned locations.
• Maintain truck logs according to state and federal regulations.
• Maintain radio/phone contact with supervisor for instructions.
• Clean inside of truck and perform routine maintenance on trucks or equipment.
• Follow safety requirements at all times.
• Open work orders when assigned to log time to the correct department.
• Report accidents to HR with details (names, licenses, etc.).
• Obtain customer signature on receipts for pickups/deliveries.
• Work harmoniously with all departments.
