Job summary

ABF Freight, an ArcBest company, seeks a CDL-A driver in Charleston, WV to pickup and deliver cargo within proximity of the distribution center. Duties include loading and unloading using standard dock procedures with schedules that vary by location.

Requirements include 1 year of tractor/trailer experience (training possible), Class-A CDL with hazmat/tanker/doubles endorsements, 21+ years old, clean driving record, and ability to pass a DOT drug screen.

Qualifications

• 1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience (Candidates with less than 1 year experience may be eligible for training).
• Certifications: Class-A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker and hazardous materials endorsements and no automatic restriction.
• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Good stable work record.
• Safe driving record (from MVR and previous employment).
• Be able to pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and meet DOT medical requirements.
• Shift days and hours required for this position vary by location and may include days, nights, and/or weekends.
