Job description

Job Summary:

Sysco has immediate openings for dependable local CDL A Delivery Truck Drivers to operate a tractor-trailer safely and efficiently. Drivers will manually unload/deliver various products such as meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, and supplies to customer locations on an assigned route schedule. Building positive relationships with customers through friendly interactions and understanding their operations to meet their needs is essential.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• 21+ years of age.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Ability to lift, push, or move products weighing 40-60 pounds on average, up to 100 pounds repeatedly.
• Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Preferred Requirements

• One year of customer delivery experience preferred.
• Six months of hand cart/hand truck experience preferred.
• Six months of Food and Beverage experience preferred.
• Two years of consistent work history preferred.
