About the Role:

• Home daily with our delivery routes for fresh produce
• Touch freight will be required
• Client-facing customer service
• Early morning shift starting
• Expected first-year earnings: $70,000 - $75,000 plus paid benefits

Job Profile Summary:

All drivers operate daily routes with frequent stops, load packages onto hand trucks, and unload products at each stop as designated by the Transportation Department Manager. The role involves operating in a cross-dock model, picking up loaded trucks from nightly deliveries, and returning empties to the lot. Occasionally, assistance with loading trucks, palletizing, and other duties may be required.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing technical, customer relations, and personnel aspects of major programs
• Running efficient routes, meeting or exceeding time expectations
• Unloading products from trailers and placing them in designated areas, in all weather conditions
• Handling products weighing 1-75 pounds, up to 100 pounds, frequently reaching up to 72 inches for stacking
• Verifying deliveries, obtaining signatures, and communicating discrepancies
• Handling customer complaints professionally
• Performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies

Minimum Qualifications:

• 21+ years old
• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Ability to lift, push, or move 40-60 pounds regularly, up to 100 pounds
• Flexible availability including overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year of customer delivery experience
• 6 months of hand truck experience
• 6 months of Food and Beverage experience
• 2 years of consistent work history
