Job summary

Airgas is hiring a Local Delivery Driver in Columbus, OH (CDL A). The role delivers compressed gas cylinders from an Airgas location to customers, with a Monday–Friday day shift and quarterly bonus potential.

Starting pay is $30.50/hr. Airgas offers a full benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, AD&D, Disability, 401(k) with match, tuition assistance, paid holidays, vacation and sick time. Benefits start after 30 days.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL A and Medical Examiner's Card required.
• Hazmat Endorsement or willingness to obtain.
• 1 year of Class A driving experience within last 5 years or equivalent driving school diploma.
• Must be 21+ years old and able to lift 25–75 lbs (heavy items with equipment).

Responsibilities

• Safely load, deliver, and unload cylinders containing compressed gases to customer locations.
• Record deliveries and pickups on load manifest with customer signatures.
• Adhere to Airgas safety standards (SAFECOR) and DOT/EPA/FMCSA/FDA/OSHA regulations.
• Provide warehouse or dock support as needed.
