Job summary

Sysco is seeking a Local Delivery Truck Driver in Fort Myers to run daily routes, loading and unloading product at multiple stops. You will operate in a cross-dock setting, verify deliveries with customers, and assist with loading pallets when needed.

The role requires a valid CDL Class A, ability to read and speak English, and flexibility for overtime, including weekends and holidays. Pre- and post-trip inspections per DOT rules are required.

Qualifications

• 21+ years of age.
• Pass employment screening.
• License to drive - valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL).
• Must be able to read and speak English.
• Touch freight – lift/push/move product up to 100 pounds repeatedly.
• Overtime including weekends/holidays may be required.

Responsibilities

• Run daily delivery routes with frequent stops.
• Load packages onto hand trucks and unload at each stop.
• Assist with loading pallets when needed.
• Verify delivery with customers and obtain signatures.
• Communicate any delivery discrepancies or returns to management.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections in line with DOT regulations.
