Job summary

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an experienced CDL Class A Driver to join our delivery team. You will operate routes, ensure safe handling of freight, and maintain accurate documentation during daily stops.

You must meet DOT requirements, hold a Class A CDL with hazmat endorsement or willing to obtain within 60 days, and maintain a clean driving record. You must be 21 or older and pass a DOT medical exam.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; proficient in reading and writing in English.
• Two years of consecutive driving experience or recent Truck Driving School certification; valid Class A CDL.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Hazmat endorsement on CDL or must obtain within 60 days of hire.
• No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the past two years.
• No alcohol-related convictions within the last ten years.
• Pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate.
• Be able to push, pull, move, and lift a minimum of 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers with an average of 10–12 stops per day, handling freight, completing paperwork, and providing excellent customer service.
• Accurately count and record the quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up.
• Complete hazardous material shipping orders papers in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Conduct and report pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections.
• Identify need for timely vehicle repairs and/or maintenance.
• Build relationships and partnerships with internal and external customers to meet goals and objectives of the business and customer needs.
• Continuously build knowledge on how Linde’s business operates and succeeds to help the organization continue growing.
