Job summary

Airgas, Inc. is hiring a Local Delivery Driver in Mount Pleasant, MI. You will safely load, deliver, and unload gas cylinders, record deliveries, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications include a valid CDL-A, Medical Card, and HazMat endorsement (or willing to obtain). 1 year of Class A driving experience preferred; alternative driving-school diploma also considered. Company offers comprehensive benefits, 401(k) with match, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Medical Examiner's Card required.
• Hazmat Endorsement preferred or willing to obtain.
• At least 1 year of Class A driving experience in last 5 years or equivalent.
• Diploma from an accredited driving school may be considered in lieu of experience.
• Ability to read MSDS sheets.

Responsibilities

• Safely load, deliver, and unload cylinders containing compressed gases to customer locations.
• Record deliveries and collect customer signatures; return empty/rejected cylinders for refilling.
• Adhere to Airgas safety standards and governmental regulations (DOT, EPA, FMCSA, FDA, OSHA).
• Provide warehouse/dock support as needed.
