Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc is seeking a CDL A Local Delivery Truck Driver to support daily routes, unloading and loading at stops, and ensuring safe, accurate deliveries. You will perform pre-trip inspections and work within a cross-dock model with occasional loading assistance and palletizing.

Qualifications

• Must have CDL A license and clean driving record.
• 21+ years old.
• Pass employment screening.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical, customer relations, and personnel management for major programs and projects.
• Runs routes efficiently, meeting or exceeding designated route times.
• Unload product from trailer, by hand or using a hand cart, and place in designated customer storage areas.
• Frequently lift, push, or move product that weighs 40–100 pounds repeatedly.
• Verify delivery of items with customer and obtain proper signatures; contact management for invoice discrepancies.
• Calls in when a customer does not receive their entire order (shorts).
• Handles customer complaints professionally; follows driver safety rules and performs pre- and post-trip inspections per DOT and Sysco policies.
