Job summary

Sysco is hiring a CDL A Local Delivery Truck Driver to run daily routes with frequent stops and load/unload products at each stop. You may assist with loading, palletizing, and other duties as assigned by supervision.

The role requires adherence to DOT regulations and Sysco safety procedures while maintaining accurate deliveries. The position offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus and requires 21+ years, a valid CDL A, and the ability to work overtime, weekends and holidays as business needs require.

Qualifications

• 21+ years of age or older.
• Pass employment screening.
• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to communicate and document.
• Lift 40–100 pounds repeatedly while loading/unloading.
• Overtime and weekend/holiday availability as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical, customer relations, and personnel management for major programs and projects.
• Run routes efficiently, meeting or exceeding designated route times.
• Unload product from trailer by hand or with a hand cart and place in storage areas.
• Frequently lift/push/move product 40–100 pounds; reach and stack pallets as needed.
• Verify delivery with customer and obtain signatures; report discrepancies.
• Call in when orders are short and handle returns professionally.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and follow safety rules.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections per DOT and Sysco policies.
