• Live Stops: $88 each
• Drop and Hook: $57 each
• Mileage: $0.52 to $0.57 per mile
• Detention: $23 to $33 per hour after the first hour
• Extra Work: $45 driver load or unload, $25 driver assist, $40 hazmat or reefer load, $25 crosstown or empty move
• Hourly Items: $23 per hour for rail delays, breakdowns, yard checks and safety meetings
• Holidays: $210 per day
• Training: $200 per day as a new hire

A Typical Shift

• Pull containers in and out of the 2 Harrisburg rail yards
• 2 to 5 loads per shift
• No New York City
• Automatic and manual day cabs, shared between shifts and parked at the Harrisburg terminal

Good to Know Up Front

• Your start time is set with your manager on the welcome call, and you must be open to any time between 4 PM and 11 PM
• Better shifts are offered by seniority as they open
• Christmas is off, while Thanksgiving and New Year's may be worked

Requirements

• Non-smoker position
• 21 or older with a valid Class A CDL
• Verifiable tractor-trailer experience: 3 months in the last 6 with one carrier, 6 months in the last 12, or 12 months in the last 5 years
• Comfortable in manual and automatic trucks (unless you have an automatic restriction)
• Hazmat endorsement within 60 days of hire
• No careless or reckless driving, no more than 2 moving violations and no major preventable accidents in 3 years
• No DUI/DWI in 5 years, plus hair and urine drug testing
