Job summary

CrossCountry Freight Solutions (CCFS) is seeking safety-conscious, Class A Linehaul Drivers to transfer freight to designated locations, hook and unhook trailers, and complete all required DOT paperwork. Our drivers are home daily with weekends off, offering a healthy work-life balance and opportunities to advance within a growing network.

This position covers a Kansas City to Wichita route with a Monday-Friday shift starting around 12am, plus a $361.94 daily flat rate and a $5,000 sign-on

Qualifications

• Skills & Knowledge: Valid Class A CDL
• At least 21 years of age
• 1 year of commercial driving experience
• No DUI’s or DWI’s (in the past 3 years)
• No more than 3 traffic violations (in past 3 years)
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements or be willing to obtain - renewals reimbursable
• This position requires successful completion of a pre-employment skills assessment

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Hook up and haul trailers between our customer/terminal locations as instructed by dispatch or immediate supervisor
• Ensure all shipping documentation is available for DOT inspection and that appropriate paperwork accompanies the shipment to the delivery point
• Operate tractor-trailer combination for extended periods of time, over long distances
