Job summary

Sheetz Distribution Services is seeking a professional truck driver to transport and deliver equipment from the distribution center to depot locations in a safe, timely manner. You will inspect vehicles, hook trailers, and ensure all paperwork accompanies shipments while maintaining compliance with regulations.

The role requires a Class A CDL, at least 3 years of tractor-trailer experience, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• 3 years of verifiable tractor trailer experience; must be 23 years of age.
• Class A CDL is required.
• High School/GED/Sheetz Training.

Responsibilities

• Inspect truck and trailer for defects and safe operating condition before, during, and after trips and submit written report.
• Hook and un-hook trailers and crank landing gear.
• Drive truck to destination in accordance with federal regulations.
• Ensure shipment documents (e.g., bill of lading) accompany shipments.
• Maintain logs and records for state and federal compliance.
• Report highway safety hazards, accidents, and delays.
• Maintain driver’s logs and mileage records as required by law.
