Job summary

Shakti Investments Inc is seeking a dedicated FEDEX Line Haul Driver in Hagerstown, Maryland. In this role, you will ensure the safe and timely transportation of goods while adhering to all traffic laws and DOT regulations.

The ideal candidate has a valid Class A CDL and a minimum of 2 years of driving experience. You will be responsible for operating vehicles on designated routes, conducting inspections, and providing exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of driving experience in line haul or freight transport.
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Operate FEDEX line haul vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Ensure timely pickup and delivery of freight.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours.
• Adhere to traffic laws and regulations.
• Communicate with dispatch regarding issues or delays.
• Assist in loading and unloading cargo.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
