Job summary

Salt City Trucking seeks a CDL-A Intermodal Driver for the Indianapolis, IN area. Expect daily home time with roughly 2,000 miles per week on intermodal runs between Indianapolis and Chicago. A $10,000 bonus is offered, plus pay variants for customer loads, detentions, and other qualifying moves.

Starting at the Indianapolis terminal, drivers report daily for dispatch and truck assignment. The role includes local work within a 100-mile radius and online orientation is available.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 3 months of verifiable truck-driving experience.
• Clean driving record.
• Hazmat endorsement within 60 days of hire.
• Hazmat endorsement costs reimbursed after added to license.

Responsibilities

• Transport intermodal freight between Indianapolis and Chicago.
• Maintain daily home time as part of the routine.
• Slip-seat and report to the Indianapolis terminal for dispatch.
• Follow local routes within a 100-mile radius of Indianapolis.
