Job summary

Reddy Ice is seeking a CDL Class A Delivery Driver to efficiently transport and unload ice to customer locations in articulated vehicles. You will adhere to DOT regulations, perform pre/post inspections, and maintain clean equipment daily.

This role may involve varying routes and equipment based on business needs. Responsibilities include invoicing, following Lean principles, and upholding high safety and ethical standards in every shift.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School education or GED.
• Three years previous route delivery driver experience preferred.
• A minimum of one year experience as a driver in a vehicle similar to which you will be assigned to operate during the time of employment with

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a clean company truck in a safe and professional manner.
• Unload, deliver, and rotate ice at customer locations using a safe and courteous method.
• Perform pre/post trip inspections, comply with hours of service requirements, and operate in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Participate daily in the Daily Visual Management (DVM) process and review results with other drivers.
• Produce invoices for each delivery and complete required paperwork.
• Responsible for the safe operation, condition, and inventory of driver tools (handhelds, printers, handcarts, handtrucks).
• Report all accidents and injuries, regardless of severity.
• Follow all SOPs and processes; uphold Code of Business Ethics and safety standards.
• Maintain high safety standards and demonstrate safety as a personal priority.
