Job summary

Sysco is seeking a Transportation and Warehouse teammate to prepare equipment for loading, unloading and dispatching in line with company standards. You will work with loaders and management to move trucks and trailers, verify loads, and ensure refrigeration units operate correctly before moving from the dock.

The schedule runs as shown, and pay starts at $25.63 per hour, increasing to $26.65 after six months and $27.98 after one year.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1 year tractor-trailer experience preferred.
• Class A CDL is required.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English for safety and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Move trucks and trailers with loaders and management to complete loading on schedule.
• Ensure trailers and trucks are loaded, secured, and reefer units operate before moving from dock.
• Perform daily checks on equipment and maintain cleanliness and sanitary conditions in building, warehouse and yard.
• Handle returned merchandise and maintain accurate logs for stock and damages.
