Job summary

Capital Paving & Construction LLC in Arkansas seeks a dependable CDL-A Driver to support our growing fleet. You will operate dump trucks and transport heavy equipment to and from active job sites, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Minimum two years of hands-on experience hauling construction materials and loading/securement on lowboy trailers, knowledge of DOT regulations, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced heavy civil construction setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of hands-on experience hauling construction materials and loading/securement on lowboy trailers.
• Knowledge of load securement and DOT safety regulations.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced heavy civil construction setting.
• Must pass pre-employment background and drug/alcohol screen.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tri-axle and tandem dump trucks to haul aggregates, asphalt, and dirt.
• Transport heavy equipment using a lowboy trailer to and from job sites.
• Ensure proper securing of loads and compliance with DOT regulations.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and basic preventative maintenance.
• Maintain accurate logs, delivery tickets, and mileage records.
• Communicate with supervisors and equipment operators to coordinate site deliveries and pickups.
