Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial driving experience, preferably in construction.
• Valid CDL Class A or B with required endorsements (e.g., tanker, doubles/triples if applicable).
• Knowledge of DOT/FMSCA rules and construction transport procedures.
• Must pass DOT physical and drug screening (49 CFR Part 40).
• Ability to operate ELD systems and mobile communication tools.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate dump trucks, flatbeds, water trucks, and lowboy trailers.
• Transport materials, aggregates, and heavy equipment to various job sites.
• Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections as per FMCSA.
• Ensure cargo is properly secured per FMCSA cargo securement rules.
• Maintain DVIRs and report defects promptly.
• Coordinate with dispatch to meet delivery schedules.
• Assist with loading/unloading and basic labor duties.
• Ensure vehicles are clean, fueled, and safe to operate.
• Travel between multiple job sites, overnight stays may be required.
