Job summary

Qualdoc in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a CDL-A Equipment Laborer (Load Adjust) to support railroad emergency response and construction operations. The role involves transporting and operating heavy equipment, rerailing, load adjustments, and track maintenance in a fast-paced setting.

Expect 60+ hours weekly with overtime, 24/7 on-call including weekends and holidays. A full benefits package is provided; starting pay is $26.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Must have Class A CDL with a good driving record.
• Experience in construction labor or similar role involving physical labor.
• Ability to pass required qualification tests, training, and safety programs.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks, trailers, and equipment in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Operate tractors and inspect loads and machinery being transported.
• Assist with rerailing, load adjustments/transfers, and track maintenance/repair.
• Participate in safety briefings and daily work planning for safe, efficient completion of assignments.
• Handle rigging, lifting, and operation of cranes and other heavy equipment when qualified.
• Maintain vehicles and equipment in clean, organized, and safe condition.
