Job summary

Austin Bridge & Road is seeking CDL Drivers Class A for heavy equipment haul using lowboy trailers. Responsibilities include daily equipment maintenance, safe operation, attending safety meetings, and adhering to DOT and company safety policies.

The role requires at least 12 months of construction driving experience and a valid Class A (or B) license; willingness to work days, nights, weekends, and in various weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 12 months relevant driving experience in the construction industry.
• Current State-issued Class A (or B) driver's license.
• Must pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Strong commitment to jobsite safety.
• Experience with end dump, belly dump, tandem, flow boy or super dump equipment.
• Experience with off-highway driving in construction sites.
• Willingness to work days, nights, and weekends; varied hours.
• Know and adhere to DOT rules and regulations.
• MVR record must meet company and DOT standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily equipment maintenance and inspections.
• Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Attend daily safety meetings.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Work hours adjusted to meet the project’s needs; days, nights and weekends.
• Able to work in adverse weather conditions, hot or cold temperatures.
• Other duties as assigned.
