Job summary

Q3 Contracting, Inc is hiring an HDD Operator to work from our Little Canada, MN location. The role involves operating heavy equipment safely to install natural gas pipelines and supporting the crew with various duties.

Candidates should have a valid CDL Class-A with tanker endorsement, with 3+ years in utility excavation equipment. Travel and overtime may be required, and the job includes on-the-job training and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• CDL Class-A with tanker and manual endorsement required.
• Willing to work overtime as dictated by workload volumes.
• Backhoe and/or Mini Ex experience is a plus.
• 3+ years of operating excavation equipment in utility industry.
• Horizontal Directional Drill experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel; travel may be required due to project distance and deadlines.
• Physical demands: lift/move 50 pounds; standing and movement on varied surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Operate HDD equipment safely for natural gas pipeline installation.
• Support crew with ancillary duties as needed.
• Read and interpret standards and schematics.
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions and sites.
