Job summary

Airgas in Augusta, GA is seeking a CDL A HazMat Driver for night and weekend routes delivering compressed and liquefied industrial gases. You will perform pre- and post-trip inspections, complete DOT and internal reports, and address maintenance and safety issues as they arise.

The position requires a Class A CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements and at least 3 years of tractor-trailer experience. Candidates must be 21+, with benefits start after 30 days of employment and a strong family

Responsibilities

• Drive a tractor‑trailer to deliver compressed and liquefied industrial gases to customers or storage sites.
• Perform pre‑ and post‑trip inspections and address maintenance needs.
• Report accidents, safety issues, citations, and customer complaints immediately.
• Complete required DOT and company reports.

Required Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• At least 3 years of experience as a driver of tractor‑trailer vehicles.
• Class A CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; two years of technical college or military technical experience.
• Three (3) years of Haz‑Mat or Tanker experience.
• Product knowledge of cryogenic, compressed, and specialty gases.
