Job summary

Black Hills Trucking LLC is hiring for a full-time, on-site Driver position in Gillette, Wyoming. The role offers an hourly wage of $27.00 to $38.00, with endorsements and a clean MVR preferred.

Responsibilities include driving safely, basic truck maintenance, and compliance with DOT and OSHA regulations. The job requires a Class A CDL, 21+ years old, and passing pre-employment checks. Benefits and company stability accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Possession of a valid Class A CDL with all endorsements and an acceptable MVR.
• Must be at least twenty‑one (21) years of age.
• English language fluency, verbal and written.
• Acceptable results of DOT physical.
• Acceptable results of a pre-employment background check, credit check and drug/alcohol test.

Responsibilities

• Drive truck and/or equipment in a safe and careful manner as dispatched, including to outlying locations.
• Perform basic maintenance requirements such as replacing hoses, fittings, and couplings.
• Perform miscellaneous emergency roadside equipment repairs, such as changing tires, installing light bulbs, and making acceptable temporary repairs.
• Comply with rules and regulations of the industry as required by the Department of Transportation (DOT), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and other federal, state, and local agencies; follow company policies and procedures as required.
• Report compliance problems to supervisor.
• Keeping daily written vehicle and personal records as required.
• Remaining alert to potential hazardous concentrations of hydrogen sulfide (H2S); being trained in and understanding the dangers and ramifications of the presence of H2S; and carrying H2S training card on person at all times.
• May be required to periodically work out of location other than base terminal for special assignments.
