Job summary

WestAir Gases & Equipment, Inc. seeks a safety-focused Bulk Compressed Gas Driver to join our distribution team in Milpitas, CA. You will deliver and transfer bulk gases to customer locations while complying with DOT regulations and company safety procedures.

The ideal candidate has experience operating commercial vehicles, handling compressed gases, and providing excellent customer service. This role requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work independently

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required, HazMat endorsement for placardable materials.
• Minimum two years of commercial delivery driving preferred with tractor-trailer.
• Experience transporting compressed gas cylinders or hazardous materials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Route deliveries efficiently and maintain safety procedures.
• Use electronic handheld scanner for product in/out.
• Verify cylinders and shippers against truck and manifest.
• Ensure correct placards and load security; perform pre/post trip inspections.
• Communicate with dispatcher and comply with DOT regulations.
• Work independently and manage time to complete routes.
