Job summary

Performance Foodservice seeks CDL-A delivery drivers to join our team in Tennessee. You will drive tractor-trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes, delivering food and related products to customers on schedule, while upholding DOT safety standards.

The role requires 12+ months of commercial driving, a valid CDL-A, and availability for early shifts (3am–6am dispatch). Competitive compensation starts at $70,000 annually, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 12+ months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A license required.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Clean MVR past 3 years; pass drug test & background checks.
• DOT health card current or able to secure one.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally.
• Perform pre/post trip safety inspections per DOT regulations.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Deliver and unload food products to customers on schedule.
• Obtain signatures and collect payments when required.
• Ensure trailer and freight are secured and paperwork is complete.
• Maintain daily hours-of-service logs per company and DOT rules.
• Complete duties as assigned.
