Job summary

US Foods is seeking a CDL A Delivery Driver to advance your career in the foodservice industry. You’ll start at $33.71 per hour with additional component pay, averaging $38 per hour including those components. Evening start times and a Sunday-Friday schedule are common.

Benefits begin Day One and include health care, retirement savings, and other programs. You will safely navigate highways and docks, unload cargo, verify deliveries, and provide excellent customer service while upholding safety

Qualifications

• Must have valid CDL Class A with endorsements and DOT qualifications.
• Minimum 6 months commercial driving experience (any industry) or 3 months in food/beverage delivery.
• Must be able to read and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Safe driving and timely product delivery.
• Unload using two-wheeler, ramp, or by hand (100% touch freight).
• Verify deliveries with customers and obtain signatures.
• Provide professional customer service.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections for safety.
• Handle collections and payments when applicable.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
