American Driver LLC in San Antonio, TX is hiring CDL-A drivers for a western flatbed fleet. No flatbed experience required—we teach it and pay you while you learn. Orientation is brief; you’ll start with paid training and a securement class.
Expect about 2,600 miles per week, home every two weeks, and earnings in the $1,300–$1,500 weekly range. The truck is a late-model Freightliner; benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) and paid vacation.
Flatbed isn't for everybody. You strap, you chain, you tarp, in July heat and in winter rain. If that sounds like a decent day's work to you, this one pays for it.
We're hiring new CDL-A drivers in San Antonio, Kirby, Converse and the East Side for a western flatbed fleet. You don't need flatbed experience. We teach it, and we pay you while we do.
Orientation lasts up to 2 days. Lodging is covered, your bus fare is reimbursed, and you're paid $300 once hired. Then comes a securement class that pays $140 a day for 5 days. After that you drive 3 to 5 weeks with a mentor, about 200-250 hours, at $650 a week.
Open-deck freight across the western states, Texas included. You'll run about 2,600 miles a week, more than most dry van seats. You're home every 2 weeks. You'll climb up on the deck, so you need to be in decent shape. Plenty of drivers count that as a plus over sitting in a cab all day.
Your honorable military service counts toward your pay rate. We'll credit up to 6+ years of service as if it were driving experience, whatever your specialty was.
A late-model Freightliner, about 1.5 years old on average, assigned to you. Automatic or 10-speed.
Medical, dental, vision and prescription. 401(k), life and disability. Paid vacation. Free online college for you and one family member.
An approved adult rider is allowed. One dog under 40 lbs is allowed after training.
We are an Equal Opportunity Employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
