Job summary

Rouse Trucking, LLC in Chicago, IL is hiring experienced flatbed drivers to move pipe, building materials, coils and similar freight. The primary running area is generally east of I-35, with loaded and empty miles paid.

Drivers are home every 7–14 days for a 34–48 hour reset. Earn $1,700–$1,800 per week, plus $30 per load and a $5,000 sign-on bonus for solo drivers. Benefits include health insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan and vacation time.

Qualifications

• CDL-A license valid.
• At least 1 year of tractor-trailer experience within the last 5 years.
• Minimum of 6 months of flatbed experience.
• Tarping and load securement experience.

Responsibilities

• Tarping needed on approximately 3 out of 5 loads.
• Load securement is part of the regular work.
• Additional $30 paid on every load.
