Job summary

Rouse Trucking in Houston, TX is seeking experienced CDL-A flatbed drivers to haul pipe, building materials, coils and similar freight. Weekly earnings range from $1,700 to $1,800, with home time every 7–14 days and a 34–48 hour reset.

Assigned 2020–2025 Peterbilt tractors with auto or manual transmissions and 48‑foot trailers ensure reliable operation. Benefits include health insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, and vacation time.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A license.
• At least 1 year of tractor-trailer experience within the last 5 years.
• Minimum of 6 months of flatbed experience.
• Tarping and load securement experience.

Responsibilities

• Tarping required on approximately 3 out of 5 loads.
• Load securement is part of the regular work.
• Haul freight primarily east of I-35 with paid loaded and empty miles.
• Duties include transition pay during the first weeks to learn routes and dispatch operations.
