Job summary

O Trucking LLC in Michigan is seeking a reliable flatbed truck driver to service Detroit, Grand Rapids, Warren and Ann Arbor. Open deck trailers 48-53 ft handle steel, lumber, machinery and construction materials with tandem/edge protection and tarps.

Requirements include CDL-A, flatbed trailer, securement gear, clean MVR and CSA, insurance COI of $1M, and the physical ability to tarp and strap. Typical pay ranges $0.80–$1.50 per mile, with 24/7 dispatch support and load selection.

Qualifications

• CDL-A license required.
• Flatbed trailer (48-53 ft) experience required.
• Securement equipment including chains, straps, binders, edge protectors and tarps.
• Clean MVR and CSA record.
• Insurance COI with $1M minimum liability.
• Physical ability to tarp, strap, and climb on the deck.

Responsibilities

• Operate open deck trailers (48-53 ft) for steel, lumber, machinery and construction materials.
• Secure cargo with chains, straps, binders, edge protectors and tarps.
• Haul freight on Michigan lanes including Detroit, Grand Rapids, Warren and Ann Arbor.
• Maintain safe loading/unloading practices and compliance with regulations.
• Coordinate with 24/7 dispatch and select appropriate loads.
