Job summary

Livestock Nutrition Center is seeking qualified candidates for a Class A CDL driver role. The job involves operating heavy trucks and trailers to deliver bulk and bagged feed within a ~200‑mile radius, with drivers home nightly.

Responsibilities include safe delivery, customer relationship maintenance, route planning, and maintaining logs per regulations. The position requires weekend work on a rotating basis and physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as a truck driver; prefer 2+ years in tractor/trailer operation.
• Current and valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• Able to work weekends on a rotating/seasonal basis.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders.
• Able to read and speak English.
• Willing to undergo background/drug checks and provide references.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver feed products to customers and collect payments as needed.
• Place deliveries at customer sites as directed, ensuring safe handling.
• Transport finished goods and raw materials between plants, retail and distribution centers.
• Maintain contact with supervisor for delivery instructions and updates.
• Display professional conduct with customers, co-workers and the public.
• Inspect vehicles for safety and perform basic preventative maintenance.
