Job summary

Empower Rental Group is hiring a CDL-A driver for the Foley, AL location to deliver rental equipment to customers, load and unload units, secure cargo, and perform basic maintenance while prioritizing safety and compliance. Candidates must have a valid CDL-A, at least one year of commercial driving, a clean driving record, and the ability to travel occasionally.

You will complete DOT logs, follow FMCSA Hours-of-Service rules, communicate with branches and customers, and maintain a professional

Qualifications

• Current, Valid CDL A Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• At least 1 year of commercial driving experience.
• Ability to follow company driving policies and defensive driving practices.
• Willingness to travel overnight occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Transport rental equipment and products to customer sites using a CDL A truck.
• Safely navigate construction sites and unload equipment.
• Vehicle inspection: perform pre-trip and post-trip checks daily.
• Complete DOT logs with accurate daily entries.
• Maintain trucks and perform routine maintenance as needed.
• Build relationships with clients and deliver excellent customer service.
• Report maintenance needs to Branch Manager promptly.
• Adhere to FMCSA regulations and Hours-of-Service rules.
