Granite Construction in Tempe, AZ is seeking an Emulsion Truck Driver to safely operate an asphalt emulsion distributor truck on road projects and maintenance assignments. You will set spray parameters, apply tack and prime coats, and coordinate with paving crews while following DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Class A CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements.
• Experience operating distributor trucks or similar construction equipment preferred.
• Knowledge of asphalt emulsion applications and roadway construction operations.

Responsabilités

• Safely operate an emulsion distributor truck on construction projects and public roadways.
• Apply tack coat, prime coat, fog seal, chip seal, and related applications on road surfaces.
• Set and maintain spray bar nozzles, valves, pumps, pressure, temperature, and heating systems, plus application rates.
• Perform pre- and post-inspections and complete required logs per DOT/state/company guidelines.
• Communicate with paving team to coordinate application timing and coverage.
• Maintain documentation of loads, deliveries, and daily production reports.
• Comply with all DOT, state, and local truck and highway regulations and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
