Job summary

BrixPavingNorthwest is looking for a versatile and experienced Dump Truck and Lowboy Driver to join our team in Sherwood, OR. Competitive pay plus benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with ESOP, PTO and bonus opportunities.

Responsibilities include safely delivering materials and equipment, securing loads, and completing pre/post-trip inspections. Applicants must have CDL A and a proven safety record. Travel to projects around the Portland metro area is required on occasion.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A license is required.
• Previous truck driving experience is required (LowBoy, Transfer, Truck and Pup, Solo and/or Super Solo).
• Experience with securing equipment preferred.
• Strong commitment to safety protocols and OSHA knowledge.
• Effective communication with team, supervisors, and clients.
• Ability to perform manual labor such as shoveling and raking.
• Ability to work flexible shifts including days, nights, and weekends.
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions and adapt to environments.
• Positive attitude, reliability, and professionalism in all job aspects.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver materials and equipment to jobsites.
• Load, secure, and unload materials and equipment as needed.
• Complete all paperwork including pre- and post-trip inspections, daily driving logs.
• Climb in and out of truck cab.
• Ensure safety policies and procedures are followed.
