Job summary

Salt City Trucking is seeking a CDL-A Local Dry Van Driver for local Phoenix, AZ routes. The driver will perform dedicated local deliveries in a day cab with 100% no-touch freight, operating within the Phoenix area and returning home daily.

The position runs five days a week, 10–12 hours per day, with weekly pay and comprehensive benefits including health, vision, dental, and life insurance, plus 401(k) with company match and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and current license to operate locally.
• Minimum 9 months tractor-trailer experience in past 3 years.
• At least 22 years old with clean driving record.
• FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse profile required.
• Must meet English language requirements for safe commercial driving.

Pay Details & Schedule

• Average Weekly Pay: $1,300
• Average Annual Pay: $66,000
• Mileage Pay: $0.65 per mile
• Stop Pay: $25 per stop
• Detention Pay: $20 per hour after the first hour
• Paid weekly
• Home daily with two consecutive days off
• Five-day workweek, averaging 10-12 hours per day

Available Schedules

• Friday-Tuesday: 5:00 AM start
• Sunday-Thursday: 10:00 PM start

Job Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years, subject to restrictions
• No more than 1 DOT-recordable preventable accident in the past 3 years
• FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse profile required
• Must meet English language requirements for safe commercial driving and required communication
• Must meet additional hiring qualifications
• Valid DOT Medical Card
• No SAP drivers
