Dry van freight demand and consistent scheduling give CDL-A truck drivers a dependable regional setup with regular freight, weekly home time, and assigned equipment. Mostly drop-and-hook loads help limit time spent waiting at customer locations and support a more productive workweek.
Pay & Home Time: Drivers earn $1,400 to $1,550 per week through direct deposit. Regional schedules typically keep drivers out for 5-7 days before returning home each week, providing a practical balance between productive road time and consistent time at home.
Additional earnings include layover pay of $12 per hour after the first hour, $15 per stop after the first, and annual safety bonus opportunities.
Your Equipment: The fleet includes International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth trucks equipped with 10-speed manual transmissions. Trucks also include 1,500-watt inverters and Opti-idle systems that help maintain cab comfort during breaks without excessive engine idling.
The Route: Drivers haul general dry van freight through established regional lanes. The freight mix is mostly drop-and-hook and entirely no-touch, helping reduce physical workload and allowing drivers to spend more of the week focused on driving.
On-the-Road Support: Drivers receive EZ Pass and toll cards for covered travel along with Comm Data fuel cards for scheduled fueling. Twenty-four-hour dispatch support is available when drivers need assistance with loads, routing, or equipment concerns. The rider program becomes available after 30 days and follows seasonal guidelines.
