Job summary

Valor is seeking CDL A drivers for regional intermodal no touch freight. Schedule is five days on and two days off (Tue-Sat with option for 6th day, approved). Annual pay ranges from $77,000 to $83,000 with a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

Freight is no touch; routes include St. Louis and Kansas City railyards with deliveries across OK, AR, MO, KS, IL, IA, NE. Automatic Freightliners; trucks may be taken home during off time.

Qualifications

• 3 months verifiable Class A experience in the last 6 months
• 6 months verifiable Class A experience in the last 12 months
• 12 months verifiable in the last 5 years
• Time with trainer counts if running as a team with trainer
• No more than 2 moving violations or incidents in last 3 years and PSP warnings count
• No more than 3 at fault minor incidents or accidents in last 3 years
• No more than one highway accident in last 12 months
• No major preventable accidents in last 3 years totaling >$25,000
• No DOT drug test failure in last 5 years and must have 1 year safe driving under SAP
• If terminated for accidents must have 12 months safe driving; if terminated for safety not an accident must have 6 months safe driving
• All felonies and misdemeanors reviewed by safety; may not have felonious drug charges in last 7 years
• No more than two DUIs in a lifetime and none in last 5 years
• No more than 5 jobs in last 3 years

Responsibilities

• Pick up freight from railyards in St Louis and Kansas City
• Deliver freight to Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas, Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska
• All freight is no touch
• Trucks are automatic and Freightliners; trucks may be taken home during off time

CDL A Drivers Regional Intermodal No Touch (Full Time)

Types of Jobs: Dedicated Home Daily

Class A drivers run regional intermodal running five days on and two days off running Tue-Sat with drivers having option of picking their schedule (must be approved) and option for 6 th day of work. This is all no touch freight with annual pay of $77K to $83K with a $10K Sign On Bonus.

• Will pick up freight from railyards in St Louis and Kansas City with deliveries to Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas, Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska.
• All freight is no touch
• Drivers will have 120 days to receive Hazmat endorsement which will be reimbursed by carrier
• Trucks are automatic and are mostly Freightliners and assigned to drivers and drivers can take trucks home with them during hope time.
• Offer full benefits start after 30 days including PTO that accrues from day one and 401K with company matching.

Requirements:

Experience:

• Either 3 months verifiable Class A experience in the last 6 months OR
• 6 months verifiable Class A Experience in the last 12 months
• 12 months verifiable in the last 5 years
• NOTE THAT TIME WITH TRAINER WILL COUNT IF RUNNING AS TEAM WITH TRAINER

• No more than 2 moving violations or incidents in the last three years'and PSP warnings count towards a violation
• No more than 3 at fault minor incidents or accidents in the last three years
• No more than one highway accident in the last 12 months
• No major preventable accidents in the last three years in which the total accident cost was greater than $25,000
• Can not have failed a DOT Drug test in the last five years and must have one full year of safe driving under the SAP program
• If terminated from job for accidents must have 12 months safe driving experience
• If terminated from job for safety that was not an accident must be 6 months of safe driving
• All felonies and misdemeanors will be reviewed by safety but may not have any felonious drug charges in the last 7 years
• No more than two DUIs in a lifetime and none in the last five years
• No more than 5 jobs in last 3 years
