Job summary

You’ll operate day cab or Sleeper tractors on OH and Northeast routes, follow DOT regulations, and prioritize safety and customer service. Start times are early, with paid training and a strong safety culture guiding every shift.

Qualifications

• Must have Class A CDL with verifiable experience in tractor trailers or comparable vehicle.
• 9 months experience in the last 3 years, OR 2 years in the last 5 years, OR 5 years in the last 10 years.
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test and a Ryder Background and Motor Vehicle check including drug/alcohol verification.
• Pass a DOT physical and Ryder road test.
• Provide appropriate CDL endorsements for the position.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal/state laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records and logs; perform loading/unloading if required.
• Drive safely and responsibly, following route schedules and customer requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
