Job summary

NIS EXPRESS in Toledo, OH is seeking CDL drivers for regional Great Lakes routes. You will haul freight with home weekends and earn competitive weekly pay, with guaranteed pay during training and a stepping stone to full-time solo runs.

The role includes 4–6 weeks of training with paid training at $900 per week, on-the-job pay and benefits after 30 days, plus 401(k) with company match and paid time off. Riders and pets are allowed after training.

Qualifications

• 21+ with a valid Class A CDL.
• New drivers: 120+ hours at an accredited CDL school.
• Experienced: 6 months OTR in the last 12 months, or 12+ months in the past 5 years.
• Max 2 moving violations in 2 years, no major preventable accidents in 5 years, no DUI/DWI in 5 to 10 years.
• Pass hair and urine drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Operate freight routes within the Great Lakes region.
• Maintain safety and regulatory compliance.
• Meet delivery schedules and communicate with dispatch.
