McLane is offering a CDL-A Driver Trainee position with paid training and a path to a full Driver role. You will be paired with experienced Trainers to learn everything from trailer hookups to safe driving, DOT compliance, and customer delivery processes.

Qualifications

• Must meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• Must be able to read and understand English for safety and instructions.
• Ability and willingness to select/load/unload and/or deliver ALL products that may be ordered by McLane customers.
• Read and comprehend labels, instructions, and bills of lading.
• Perform mathematical calculations to verify quantities of product.
• Communicate with customers, management, and other teammates.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on training to become a full Driver position at McLane.
• Learn to attach trailer and secure lines.
• Operate truck safely and in compliance with regulations.
• Inspect tractor-trailer equipment and submit DOT reports.
• Document delivery receipts and product temps with the DDH device.
• Assist in unloading and delivering product to customer premises.
• Provide on-time, undamaged product delivery and handle returns.

Class A CDL

21 years or older
