Job summary

HODGE is seeking a CDL A Driver to transport goods between our warehouse facilities, suppliers, and customers in the Dubuque, Iowa area. You will operate forklifts and trucks, perform pre-trip checks, and ensure timely, safe deliveries while adhering to DOT and company policies.

Responsibilities include inventory control, accurate shipment verification, and effective communication with peers and leadership.

Qualifications

CDL A license with valid medical card is required.
Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience.
Ability to safely operate forklifts, yard trucks, and related equipment is preferred.
Strong safety awareness and compliance with DOT regulations.
Basic proficiency with warehouse management software and MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

Operate company vehicles (tractor-trailers, straight trucks) to move and deliver materials between facilities, suppliers, and customers.
Conduct pre-trip inspections and report any equipment issues.
Ensure compliance with all safety, traffic, and DOT regulations.
Assist in inventory control and accurate documentation of movements.
Communicate effectively with teams and leadership about material movement and delivery status.
