Job summary

Hodge in Peosta, IA seeks a CDL A Driver to move goods between our warehouse facilities, suppliers, and customers. You will operate company vehicles, manage loads, and uphold safety and DOT regulations to ensure timely deliveries.

Responsibilities include loading and unloading, conducting pre-trip checks, maintaining inventory records, coordinating with teams, and promoting a safety-first culture. Must have at least 2 years of tractor-trailer experience, a Class A license, a current DOT medical

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and a current DOT medical card

• Internal candidates with strong safety, attendance, quality and productivity records may be considered

Responsibilities

• Safe Equipment & Vehicle Operation: Operate forklifts, yard trucks, and tractor-trailers to move materials and ensure safe handling.
• Regulation Compliance: Adhere to DOT regulations and company policies for safe operations.
• Material Handling: Load and unload materials and verify shipment accuracy.
• Inventory Control: Update inventory records and monitor stock levels.
• Effective Communication: Coordinate with peers, suppliers and leadership with clear updates.
• Safety: Promote a safety-first culture and uphold safety protocols.
