Job summary

Truck-Right Data Management Inc is seeking a full-time CDL A driver in Cartersville, GA to deliver and pick up fairs from branch facilities to hub locations. You will inspect equipment, couple/uncouple trailers, and maintain accurate DOT logs and trip records.

The role requires 1+ year of verifiable commercial driving, a valid CDL A with air brake endorsement, and the ability to pass drug, alcohol, background, and DOT physical checks. OT and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid CDL A with air brake endorsement and 40,000 miles driving experience.
• At least 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Must be 21+ years old and able to pass DOT physical, drug and background checks.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and handle heavy cases.
• Strong customer service orientation and good communication skills.
• Able to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Must be able to read road maps and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up fairs efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Inspect and prepare fifth wheel before coupling.
• Operate semi tractor with various configurations to haul from branch to hub.
• Deliver fairs using a semi tractor and trailer.
• Couple/uncouple trailers safely and connect/disconnect air/brake lines.
• Maintain customer service standards and communicate routing changes.
• Load/unload trucks and maintain required paperwork (DOT logs, trip sheets, etc.).
• Adhere to DOT/OSHA and company policies.
• Attend monthly driver meetings and complete training materials.
• Overnight routes as necessary.
• Maintain truck per company standards and a clean, safe work environment.
