Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is seeking a CDL A Driver to join our team in Toledo, OH. You will drive and transport portable toilets and related equipment to customer sites, perform on-site moves, and repair units as needed.

You’ll also conduct pre- and post-trip inspections, log hours, and fuel vehicles while maintaining a strong focus on safety and customer service. Safety-sensitive role with weekend work possible; requires 2+ years of DOT driving experience, a valid Class A CDL with tanker

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years DOT regulated Commercial Driving Experience.
• Valid Class A CDL driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Must have Tanker Endorsement.
• Ability to use technology to accurately maintain records (Record of Service & HOS).
• Ability to lift items up to 45 lbs.
• Ability to drive day or night; some weekend work may be required.

Responsibilities

• Drive/transport equipment to customer locations on time and safely.
• Repair portable restroom units onsite as needed.
• Perform onsite moves of equipment and pick up/delivery as requested.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections; maintain truck logs.
• Load and unload units; fuel vehicles and equipment.
• Interact with customers and recommend additional services when appropriate.
• Maintain excellent housekeeping of vehicles and facilities.
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
