Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Southern Indiana is seeking a CDL Truck Driver in Clarksville, IN to support pickups and deliveries across the organization. You will operate gasoline- or diesel-powered tractor-trailer units, load/unload with forklifts, and maintain compliant driver logs while ensuring excellent customer service.

This full-time role offers $32/hour, with shifts from early mornings to evenings, and opportunities to support multiple retail locations.

Qualifications

• Current CDL Class A license and ability to obtain Forklift Operator certification.
• Knowledge of DOT rules and safe driving practices.
• Strong directional skills and familiarity with Indiana geography.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Ability to read maps and plan efficient routes.
• Willingness to cross-train and support site operations.

Responsibilities

• Drive tractor-trailer to destinations following safety rules and road laws.
• Inspect vehicle before and after trips and report conditions.
• Maintain driver logs compliant with regulations.
• Load and unload materials using forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Plan routes for safety and timeliness.
• Maintain forklift certification and operate forklifts and pallet jacks as needed.
• Collaborate with CDP Leads and Transportation staff; assist with other site operations.
