Goodwill of Central and Southern Indiana, Inc. seeks a Part-Time Forklift Driver in Clarksville, IN to safely move merchandise in retail and warehouse spaces.

This role operates a forklift and other powered equipment to unload, move, stack, and count products, supporting inventory accuracy and distribution. The position requires forklift certification or ability to obtain, strong teamwork and communication, safety awareness, and adaptability to changing priorities.

Qualifications

• Must have or be able to obtain Forklift Operator certification.
• Knowledge of warehouse processes including receiving, putaway, storage, picking, packing and shipping.
• Teamwork - works well with others to help outputs.
• Communication skills - reads, writes simple instructions and memos.
• Mathematical aptitude - handle quantities, rates, counts.
• Adaptability to changing priorities.
• Safety awareness and adherence to safety protocols.
• Reasoning to solve problems in standard situations.

Responsibilities

• Unload inbound shipments and transport products to storage areas; stack and store merchandise.
• Ensure shipments are accurate, documented, and undamaged; report variances.
• Pull and prepare products for shipment or distribution.
• Perform order picking and staging.
• Move products between staging, storage, outlets, and trailers using equipment.
• Load/unload materials with safe techniques.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment safely.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and document safety checks.
• Maintain inventory records and assist cycle counts.
• Keep areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow OSHA and SDS safety standards.
