Job summary

American Driver LLC is hiring new CDL-A drivers in the New Orleans area. Trainees are paid during training with a mentor for 3–5 weeks (200–250 hours) before going solo. After training, expect 1,800–2,900 miles weekly with routes covering the South and Midwest, and home time every two weeks.

Starting pay ranges from $1,200 to $1,800 per week after training, plus a $1,000 weekly guarantee during the first 3 months and additional bonuses for performance, stops, and short loads.

Qualifications

• CDL-A training (120 hours) is required.
• Class A CDL is required from your state of residence.
• Be 21 years or older.
• No DUI/DWI in 10 years.
• DOT physical and drug screen are required.

Responsibilities

• Training with a mentor for 3 to 5 weeks (200 to 250 hours), paid weekly, before driving solo.
• Drive 1,800 to 2,900 miles per week once solo; routes cover the South and Midwest, east of Denver.
