Job summary

PF Holdings is seeking a CDL Class A driver to transport materials and equipment across multiple states. You will ensure loads are verified, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and maintain DOT-compliant duty records.

The role requires adaptability to weather, heavy traffic, and long trips, with forklift loading as needed. The position emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and on-time deliveries, with potential extended hours and multi-day assignments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years commercial driving experience preferred.
• Experience hauling oversize and overweight loads.
• 1-2 years experience and certification from an accredited CDL driving school.
• One or more years operating a forklift.
• Possess and maintain a valid CDL Class A.
• Experience operating oilfield winch trucks and trailers.
• Willing to stay on the road multiple days.
• Must be able to read and write English.
• Knowledge of vehicle safety, DOT regulations, inspection and maintenance.
• Must meet medical standards of the U.S. Department of Transportation.
• Must satisfactorily pass a drug test and alcohol test as required by DOT regulation.

Responsibilities

• Drive truck to and from designated destinations.
• Must be able to operate a manual transmission.
• Apply knowledge of commercial driving and skills in maneuvering vehicle at varying speeds in difficult situations.
• Inspect truck for defects and safe operating condition before, during and after trips and submit a written report.
• Check shipping papers to determine the nature of load and verify for accuracy.
• Operate equipment in all weather and conditions including tight areas.
• May be responsible for unloading materials with forklift.
• Perform simple calculations, read maps, maintain duty status records.
• Report accidents, delays, and safety hazards involving drivers or equipment.
• Maintain records for state and federal regulations including duty status and mileage.
• Comply with company safety policies and all DOT regulatory requirements.
