Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking an over-the-road Driver to transport building materials to dealers, distribution centers, and job sites using a tractor-trailer. You will perform pre/post-trip inspections, ensure load security, and maintain equipment in top condition while delivering outstanding customer service.

The role requires a valid Class A CDL, 2 years of driving experience, a clean driving record, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Minimum 2 years of commercial truck driving experience.
• Clean driving record.
• Willing to tarp using Conestoga XP Roll Tarp Systems and strap flatbed loads.
• Ability to operate trailer-mounted forklift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Multi-drop delivery experience a plus.
• Ability to work independently or with a team.
• Ability to plan and manage time efficiently.
• Commitment to safety and DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain cleanliness and integrity of vehicle and equipment.
• Report any necessary repairs or maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with DOT guidelines.
• Load and unload truck using appropriate equipment.
• Verify loads before leaving facility or job site.
• Follow safety procedures for transporting goods.
• Occasional weekend work and flexible hours.
